Chief Executive Officer
- Full Time – Exempt
- Salary Range: $160,000/yr - $210,000/yr, DOE, plus benefits

Position summary:
The Santa Rosa Metro Chamber Board of Directors seeks a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will engage key stakeholders to advance the mission, vision, and strategic initiatives of the Chamber. The CEO will provide executive leadership to the Chamber, driving strategies that benefit its members, support the regional business economy, and ensure the long-term success of the Chamber, its members, and the greater community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Leadership: Lead the Chamber in fulfilling its mission, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the implementation of initiatives that align with the Chamber's goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Chamber members, business leaders, government officials, and other community stakeholders to advocate for and advance the interests of the Chamber and its members.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term strategies that anticipate future trends, promote economic growth, and position the Chamber as a leader in the regional business community.
- Organizational Management: Oversee the operational, financial, and administrative functions of the Chamber, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the Chamber, developing and leading a high-performing team committed to the organization’s success.
- Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the Chamber in public forums, representing the interests of the business community, and advocating for policies that support economic development.

- Process Management: Expertise in organizing people and activities to achieve goals efficiently.
- Executive Skills: Proficient in organizational management, financial oversight, and communication, with the ability to lead effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of how businesses operate, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and budgets, ensuring sustained organizational performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a chamber of commerce, business association, or similar organization.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience overseeing budgets and financial planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A deep understanding of the local and regional business landscape is highly desirable.
Compensation:
Pay dependent on experience and qualifications. Employer-paid medical, life insurance, long-term disability, 401k, and generous Paid Time Off policy.
