AXIA Architects welcomes two new talented members: Nanette Names and Erin Smith
Santa Rosa, CA – October 16, 2014 - AXIA Architects is happy to welcome Nanette Names and Erin Smith to the team.
Nanette graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts, major in Architecture and entered her first job as an architectural model maker in San Francisco. Her love of architecture has roots in her childhood. Her father studied architecture in Denver and inspired her to become an architect. Over the past 20 years she has been actively engaged in the profession of architecture in Sonoma County, specializing in K-12 facilities with a focus on campus wide modernizations and athletic facilities. Clients keep Nanette passionate about her career, she enjoys meeting with and incorporating their needs into successful projects while keeping their budget and schedule on track. Nanette has quickly become an important member of the AXIA team and we are delighted to have her.
Erin studied architecture at Montana State University, and recently moved to Sonoma County from San Francisco. Erin has experience in commercial and residential architecture and is currently assisting a number of our Hi Tech/Bio Tech clients. Additionally, through her time spent with Architecture for Humanity, she is a contributing writer to the sustainable handbook Design Like You Give a Damn II. Erin is LEED accredited and will soon begin testing for her architectural license. Erin has quickly become an integral member of the AXIA team and we are delighted to have her.
