Bridget Doherty Appointed to Summit State Bank's Board of Directors

Santa Rosa, CA – (August 23, 2016) – Summit State Bank (NASDAQ: SSBI) appointed Bridget Doherty to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Doherty is the Co-owner and President of Encore Events and of Cal-West Rentals, both family owned businesses that she runs with her brother, Tyler Doherty. After college, Bridget took over the management of the family’s rental business after the tragic death of her father. She was joined in 2009 by her younger brother, Tyler, who manages Cal-West Rentals. Through Bridget’s leadership, the single rental location in Petaluma has morphed into two separate rental companies specializing in heavy equipment and event rentals. The original location in Petaluma is home to Cal-West Rentals and Encore Events. Encore Events also has a large showroom and warehouse in Healdsburg and a design studio in St. Helena.

Bridget is very active in the Petaluma and Healdsburg communities and recently received the Next Gen Leadership Award at the Benedetti Leadership Celebration. She has served on the Board of Directors for the American Rental Association’s California Chapter, International Live Events Society Napa Sonoma Chapter and is involved with many local non-profits in Sonoma County.

Bridget graduated from the University of Southern California in 2000.
