First North Bay Pizza Week Debuts Jan 8, 2025
An exciting culinary event will unfold across the North Bay region on January 8, 2025 with the launch of the region’s first North Bay Pizza Week. Inspired by pizza-centric celebrations from Nashville to Portland, food establishments and media partners are collaborating to introduce a sizzling new tradition to Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties.
Running from Wednesday, January 8, through Sunday, January 19, 2025, the event is the region’s first of its kind, dedicated to celebrating America’s favorite food: pizza. Dozens of local restaurants will craft and serve special pies and slices at special prices, offering North Bay residents and visitors a chance to taste the extraordinary artistry that goes into creating the perfect pizza.
“North Bay Pizza Week is not just about pizza—it’s about showcasing the culinary talent and creativity of our local chefs while fostering community pride,” said Lisa Santos, an organizer of the inaugural event.
“This event is the perfect way to celebrate the flavors, textures and traditions that make pizza a universal favorite,” said Weeklys media group CEO Dan Pulcrano, a third-generation descendent from Naples, where the world’s first pizzeria was established in 1830.
From classic margheritas to inventive only-in-California combinations, participating restaurants will display the diversity and innovation that make the North Bay an international dining destination. With plenty of options for all tastes and preferences, North Bay Pizza Week promises to be a memorable experience for pizza lovers of all ages.
