Growth propels North Bay Credit Union to new headquarters
North Bay Credit Union has outgrown its long-time headquarters, so it is relocating to a larger and more convenient space. To celebrate the new office, it is hosting a ribbon-cutting event on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 5 pm. The new location is at 397 Aviation Blvd. in Santa Rosa. The public is invited.
“We’ve grown so much in the past few years that we simply need more room,” says North Bay Credit Union CEO Chris Call. “Plus, we’ll be more centrally located so we can better serve our members and the workforce in the area.”
The locally owned credit union has earned a reputation as the progressive alternative to profit-centered big banks who mostly pull revenue from the North Bay area to their out-of-state headquarters.
The credit union’s rapid growth has also been behind the opening of three new branches since 2015, including one in Rohnert Park this September.
As part of its grand opening and to honor its commitment to the community, the credit union will donate $25 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin for each new member who joins between September 12 and October 31, 2019.
The credit union offers a robust range of financial services including free Kasasa checking, car loans and mortgages, as well as unique North Bay products not offered by most banks including manufactured home loans and vineyard loans.
North Bay Credit Union has assets of $65 million and serves 2,500 members. Anyone who lives or works in the North Bay can join at www.NorthBayCU.com.
