Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County Names New CEO
Tamara Stanley has recently been appointed CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County. She had previously served as their Director of Development.
Stanley brings a wealth of non-profit experience to her position. Since 2006, Ms. Stanley has served as Special Events and Public Relations Manager at Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma. Before that, she was with the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County where she was Director of Fund Development and Public Relations as well as Director of Services.
"We are thrilled to have Tamara at the helm," said Jane Bender, President of the Habitat Board. "She is passionate about Habitat and working to improve living conditions for Sonoma County residents."
Ms. Stanley’s wealth of experience in fund development and relationship building is a tremendous asset in her new position at HfHSoCo and a great advantage towards successfully accomplishing the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
Tyler Turkle, the previous Executive Director, stepped down in November of last year to pursue other projects.
