About Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County
Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Habitat’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Since our founding in1984 we have completed 48 homes and have (4) ready to build in the City of Sebastopol. Habitat homeowners are low to moderate-income families, defined as 50-80% of Area Median Income. Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County has been successful in its Home Build Program due to its ability to leverage funds raised by working with hundreds of volunteers including individuals, schools, faith groups, and community and youth organizations. Also, as part of its focus on sustainability, Habitat uses donated materials wherever possible. To learn more, visit www.habitatsoco.org.
