Kaiser Permanente appoints new Associate Medical Group Administrator
Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center announced the recent appointment of Tony Fiorello, RN, as associate medical group administrator (AMGA).
The longtime Sonoma County resident previously worked at the Santa Rosa Medical Center for nearly 15 years between 1991 and 2006, and later served as chief nursing executive/chief operating officer at Kaiser Permanente San Rafael.
Prior to beginning his new role, Tony was AMGA of the Emergency Department, Hospital Based Specialists, Medical Imaging, and Pathology/Laboratory departments at Kaiser Permanente East Bay since 2014. While there, he spearheaded the Patient Care Improvement System, resulting in dramatic improvements in lab and radiology waiting times, MRI on-time starts, ED care experience, and ED and radiology affordability.
“I’m exhilarated to return to Santa Rosa, my home of 30 years,” Tony says. “Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa has always had a special place in my heart, having established my career here, and having formed lasting memories and relationships. I’m incredibly excited about rejoining the Santa Rosa team and serving our personnel who care for members on the front lines.”
