Join us for our annual Tree Lighting Celebration, a cherished tradition held the day after Thanksgiving, as we illuminate Old Courthouse Square with festive lights and joyous cheer.
But the fun doesn't stop there! From the Tree Lighting until the New Year, lace up your skates and glide across the Skating on the Square synthetic ice rink, nestled in the heart of Downtown. Experience the thrill of winter sports in the heart of our vibrant city, surrounded by twinkling lights and holiday merriment.

Winter Lights, downtown Santa Rosa’s annual tree lighting event, brings together the community to celebrate the holidays with activities for all ages.
The evening starts with the arrival of Santa Claus on top of a fire truck. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, everyone’s invited to have their picture taken with Santa. }
This beloved celebration is traditionally held on the Friday after Thanksgiving in Old Courthouse Square, and is free and open to the public.
