Mixer Host Request and Guidelines
Mixers are a great way to enjoy an evening of relationship building in a casual environment. They create the opportunity to reconnect with business acquaintances and make new contacts with over 100 fellow Chamber members and prospective members while allowing host-partners to showcase their location, products and services.
These events are held from 5:00-7:00pm on the fourth Thursday of each month with the exception of November (third Thursday of the month) and December (the first Thursday of the month). The December Mixer will be in partnership with the Chamber's Young Professionals Network.
As a Mixer host you'll get...
- Promotion in our weekly events and bi-monthly newsletter emails (sent to over 3,500 business people).
- Promotion on the Chamber’s Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn accounts including post-event photo gallery showcasing your venue and the event (typically reaching over 2,000 people).
- Logo and business name displayed on event marketing materials, including on the website and social media event listings and also displayed on the TV in the reception area of our Chamber office.
- Business cards collected at the Mixer are turned over to the host so that you may follow up and generate new business for your company.
Hosting is easy...
- Provide a facility that can accommodate a minimum of 100 people (indoor or outdoor depending on the season).
- Provide catering-quality hors d’oeuvres and refreshments (including alcoholic beverages) for a minimum of 75 people—we'll update you on the RSVPs as we get close to the date.
- Provide ample parking for attendees.
- Provide 2 raffle prizes.
Cost: $400 (must be paid by January 2025 to secure your placement).
Cancellation Policy: 120 days advance notice required.
It would be great if...
You would partner with a non-profit Chamber Member that you'd like to highlight.
Your hors d'oeuvres and refreshments are provided by Chamber member food & beverage purveyors.

Please note: In the late fall, we make a concerted effort to reach out to gather information from interested members and schedule locations for the year ahead. But you can submit the Mixer RFI at any time and we'll include your request during the next scheduling round.
