Advocating for Tourism – Rally Day at the Capital

On Feb 28, ambassadors from Cal Travel including Visit Santa Rosa’s Executive Director Brad Calkins spent the day in Sacramento meeting with our Assembly Members and State Senators. Topics included the importance of tourism, the positive economic impact on local economies with specifics on spending in each district along with how we can work together to overcome obstacles for a strong hospitality and tourism industry.
