All in a Day's Work
It’s the summer season and the Chamber’s Visit Santa Rosa program has been covering lots of ground as of late. Last week, Director of Marketing Chris Vomvolakis represented the Metro Chamber and Visit Santa Rosa by attending the one-year anniversary ribbon cutting ceremony at Beer Baron.
Earlier, California Welcome Center Manager Myrna Lozada led a group of 18 concierge volunteers on an educational day-long familiarization and site visit trip to Vintners Inn, Safari West, Chateau Montelena, Castello di Amorosa, River Rock Casino, and Cooperage Brewing Company.
Meantime, in Anaheim, Visit Santa Rosa Executive Director Brad Calkins attended the Destinations International 2018 Conference. As the world's largest and most reliable resource for destination organizations, Destinations International informs, connects, inspires and educates members with the goal to drive destination economic impact, job creation, community sustainability and promote quality of life through travel and tourism.
All this Visit Santa Rosa staff activity is intended to support the strategic plan of marketing Santa Rosa as a premier overnight destination, to attract, retain and grow groups and events business, operate an exceptional Welcome Center, organize, coordinate and facilitate tourism product development and planning, and advocate for tourism. It’s all in a day’s work for the Visit Santa Rosa team!
