Chamber Applauds City's Quality of Life Ordinance Enforcement
The Santa Rosa City Council endorsed City staff recommendations to proceed with enforcing quality of life ordinance violations as misdemeanors when those violations are egregious or repeated.
"We believe that these ordinances should be enforced throughout the City," said Chamber CEO Jonathan Coe, "and we applaud the Mayor and other Council members who support this." Coe also noted that this enforcement is paralleled by the City's significant investment in expanded services and outreach to individuals who are experiencing homelessness in our City.
