Chamber Honors Carl Campbell with Spirit of Sonoma Award

The Board of Directors of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce has chosen to honor Carl Campbell of Kaiser Permanente with this year’s Spirit of Sonoma Award. Carl has helped strengthen our community through years of dedicated leadership and service with the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, where he has been on the chamber’s board of directors for nearly 10 years, has served as Chairman and uses his professional expertise to advocate on behalf of local business and our community.

“I can’t imagine anyone who better represents the spirit of Sonoma as a committed and dedicated member of our community,” says the Chamber’s President/CEO Jonathan Coe.

Although Carl can be found at nearly every major community event, you won’t often find him in the limelight. Part of his philosophy is to promote success in others. Carl serves our community through building relationships with community partners and is instrumental in securing substantial funding and support for many of them, including SRJC’s Bridging the Doyle Scholarship fund, the Santa Rosa Community Health Centers capital campaign, and the Building Economic Success Together (BEST) program.

The annual Spirit of Sonoma County Awards luncheon, sponsored by the County of Sonoma Economic Development Board, will be held at the Double Tree Sonoma Wine Country Hotel in Rohnert Park this Friday, December 7th. The Spirit of Sonoma Awards brings together Chambers of Commerce and trade groups from across Sonoma County to celebrate and recognize individuals for their contributions to the economic development and enhancement of the communities in which they live and work through donations of their time and expertise in support of local business and in helping others.
