Chamber Membership Drive A Huge Success
In an extremely successful membership drive last week, volunteer members of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce brought in 62 new members to the Chamber. Over 50 volunteers were involved in five different teams. The Ambassador Team was the winning group bringing in 34 new members. The total of 62 members vastly surpassed the Chamber's goal of 50 new members. Top individual recruiters were Michael A. Cook from Michael A. Cook Landscape Architect, Ken Miller from American Solutions for Business and Wendy Brown from Integra Telecom.
"This was a particularly good time to join the Chamber," said Jonathan Coe, Chamber President and CEO. "Not only will these new members receive all the year round benefits that go with being a member of the largest chamber in the region, but they will also receive the special incentives that were offered during the Membership Drive."
The Chamber would also like to thank The Press Democrat for donating advertisements to the first 50 new members, and SIGNS Par excellence, Inc. of Santa Rosa which donated a free vinyl 2 by 5 foot company banner for each new member. The new members are also guaranteed inclusion in the Chamber 2010 membership directory, and inclusion in a drawing for one year of free membership.
"This Chamber works hard all year round for the benefit of its members and to improve the economic climate of this area," Coe added. "These businesses and those that continue to join are really investing not only in their own success, but also the future of our community."
