Chamber Receives Hispanic Community Leader Award
The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce received one of seven “community leader” awards at the Hispanic Business Expo for its work on the Mike Hauser Algebra Academy, WHEEL (Worksite Held Employee English Learning) Program, and the Latinos in the Workplace Conference and Workshops.
The awards, presented at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds by BreNotas Magazine, were selected from over 400 nominations. (see the full list of 2015 Hispanic Community Leader Award recipients)
The Chamber is honored to have received this award recognizing our countywide workforce development programs that serve and empower the Latino community.
