Chamber to Endorse Candidates for November Election
In a departure from previous
practice, the Board of Directors has voted to initiate a process to endorse
candidates in the November election for Santa Rosa City Council.
“This is an indication of just how important the Board feels these upcoming elections are,” said Jonathan Coe, Chamber President. “Our economy continues to do poorly, the City lacks the revenues it needs, and we believe that it is absolutely critical to have City Council members who will work with us to support the creation of new jobs and the prosperity of our businesses.”
The endorsement process will be handled by the Chamber’s political action committee (CPAC) which will make recommendations to the Board. The process will include presentations by candidates at Good Morning Santa Rosa being held September 15th. For more information, please contact Chamber President Jonathan Coe at 707.545.1414 x14.
