City's new School of Recreation program supports distance learning
The City of Santa Rosa announced a new program to help working parents support their children during the COVID-19 distance learning challenge.
The School of Recreation Distance Learning Camp & Care is a seven week session of full-day distance-learning and recreation hosted at City community centers and parks.
Limited, partial scholarships for income qualifying families are available. Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks has dedicated $10,000 ($500 per child) from its Scholarship Fund to help offset the cost of School of Rec – Distance Learning Camp & Care for income-qualifying families.
The first of two, seven-week sessions runs August 24 – October 9, Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm. LEARN MORE & SIGN UP
