It’s the end of the work week, yet for all of us there’s more work ahead. Whether you’re continuing recovery efforts, volunteering, or attending one of the many fundraisers, we hope you are able to find some time to relax and refresh this weekend.
Wildfire Relief Fund from United Way of the Wine Country
United Way has an application for $1,000 for both owners and renters who lost their homes. The “Wildfire Relief Fund” is part of our Emergency Relief Fund and seeks to assist those facing hardship by providing direct monetary aid to families and individuals who have suffered loss as a result of the fires. Next Thursday, October 26, we invite Chamber and YPN members to come together and reconnect at La Rosa Tequileria & Grille’s upstairs lounge for a Mixer & Gift Card Drive. We ask that you to bring a gift card to donate to the Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief Fund.
Help support some of our local businesses by purchasing a gift card from our local retailers our local retailers, grocery stores, restaurants, department stores, gas stations, coffee (Acre, Starbucks, Peet’s).

A Hero’s Halloween
The Downtown Action Organization, Santa Rosa Metro Chamber and Wine Country Moms Blog is hosting a FREE trick-or-treat Halloween event to celebrate our community heroes, large and small. Displaced families, their friends, and our community are invited to join us in downtown Santa Rosa for merchant trick-or-treating and carnival fun on the square.
