Leadership Santa Rosa Class 38 Legacy Project at Forget Me Not Farm
Our Leadership Santa Rosa Class 38 recently completed their Legacy Project at the wonderful Forget Me Not Farm.
With the help of donations and expertise from the community, the class built an arched trellis at the farm to create a physical space where youth are able to leave their trauma behind as they enter the garden.
Since its inception in 1992, Forget Me Not Farm has helped thousands of at-risk children and youth break the cycle of abuse. The farm offers animal-assisted and horticultural therapeutic activities that provide a haven for children, plants, and animals to bond, learn, and heal with one another.
A special thank you to Doug Hamilton and Chano Gonzalez with Oak Grove Construction, Golden State Lumber, Exchange Bank, Friedman's Home Improvement, and Bravo Restoration & Construction. This project would not have been possible without your support!
