Local Ballot Measure Recommendations

A Ballot Task Force sub-committee of Advocacy Council convened several times to examine the 24 state and local ballot measures that will be before us in November. Of the seven local ballot measures, the task force gave their recommendations to the Chamber Board and the Board voted to take a position on the following three:

Oppose Measure M: Transgenic Contamination Prevention Ordinance (GMOs)

Support Measure O: Amendment to former Measure O to tie funding for public safety to a percentage of the total City of Santa Rosa budget

Support Measure N: Extension of the quarter cent sales tax (Measure P) in Santa Rosa through 2026
