Now Accepting Applications for the Cycle V Request for Qualifications Process
The City of Santa Rosa’s Recreation, Parks & Community Services Department is now accepting applications for the Cycle V Request for Qualifications process. Contingent upon finalization of the budget by City Council, approximately $460,000 will be available for funding.
Commencing in 2011 with Cycle V, the City of Santa Rosa will implement an annual Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process that identifies agencies whose capabilities to provide services match identified needs. All agencies deemed qualified are eligible to receive funding for the current funding cycle and are eligible to participate on the Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force Operational Team. The new Eligible Service Areas are listed below. Please note that a separate application is required for each Eligible Service Area in which an agency seeks to apply.
1. Personal Transformation Through Cognitive Development and Youth Support Groups
2. Short Term Curriculum Based Youth Support Groups
3. Social, Recreational, Cultural, and Community Service Intervention Activities
4. Gang Mediation/Intervention Response
5. Outpatient Substance Abuse Services
6. Services for Adjudicated Youth
7. Parent and Family Support
8. Domestic Violence Services to Youth and Children
Applications will be due April 25th at 5:00pm; specific eligible applicants and submissions details are included within the Request for Qualifications application packet. Beginning tomorrow, additional resources will be available on our website at gangprevention.srcity.org.
