Dierk’s Parkside Café and Dierk’s Midtown Café are local breakfast and lunch restaurants that use fresh local ingredients to create amazing dishes that are sure to satisfy. Our customers mean the world to us so we cater to special orders and always add a little extra love. Dierk’s Parkside Café opened in November 2006 and paved the way for Dierk’s Midtown Café in May of 2013. Both are located in Santa Rosa, California close to downtown area.
Mark Dierkhising, the owner, grew up with a passion for food and farming. Mark has been around the world studying food and cultures, perfecting his talents and gathering fans of his food. The passion for food runs in the family clearly because his brothers have restaurants in Calistoga and his sister hand crafts caramels in Minnesota.
Because they all use local ingredients the community around them is a huge priority. Mark has been a huge supporter of S.A.Y. since he has been in the community. He contributes meal vouchers for less fortunate youth regularly and promotes any fundraisers they have to gain support. Not only that, he supports surrounding local businesses, food banks, schools, art studios, farms, and organizations that stand for food quality. Mark encourages all his employees, children, and friends to get involved in the community and be aware of local issues. Mark is a huge inspiration to raise the bar in every way possible and his restaurants are the perfect reflection of his passion.
