Tackling Childcare Issues

Our VP of Public Policy and Workforce Development, Ananda Sweet, had the opportunity to present at the Western Association of Chamber Executives 2023 Future Forward conference in Sacramento this week.

Representing the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber, Sweet held a Tackling Childcare Issues discussion group that covered the issue of strained business models that exclude accessible and affordable childcare. The discussion explored opportunities to improve the current childcare business model and proposed how to find available financial resources that may be available to businesses and employees in our communities.
