Visit Santa Rosa Gets Canadians Dreaming Big About California

This week, Visit Santa Rosa Executive Director, Brad Calkins, is traveling across Canada with Visit California promoting Santa Rosa and Sonoma County as a tourism destination to media in three Canadian cities including Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto.

The highlight of the trip is a stunt with Visit California and Santa Rosa native, Kevin Jorgeson--the climber who recently summited the Dawn Wall in Yosemite. His task was to climb the beautiful Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) building in Toronto. Kevin made it to the top of the ROM with cheers from the audience. The purpose of the stunt was to promote what dreaming big in California can look like, and what our spirit is all about.
