Visit Santa Rosa in the Big Apple

Last week, as part of Visit California's media mission, Visit Santa Rosa's Director of Marketing, Chris Vomvolakis met with more than a dozen journalists at TravMedia's day-long Media Marketplace event at the Javits Center in New York City. The annual event is one of the largest gatherings in the nation connecting journalists and public relations professionals across the travel industry. Chris was in his element promoting all things Santa Rosa to travel and broadcast journalists, bloggers, and digital influencers.

The event in New York City was also attended by colleagues from Sonoma County Tourism, Director of Global Media Relations, Birgitt Vaughn and Todd O'Leary Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Working collaboratively with our business partners at Sonoma County Tourism, this group is planning great things for attracting travel and tourism in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County in 2020.
