Winter Storm Economic Injury Loans from SBA
Sonoma County small businesses are now eligible for low-interest federal economic injury disaster loans (EIDL) to help recover from economic injury resulting from the severe winter storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that began Dec. 27, 2022.
For small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations of all sizes, SBA offers these loans to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster. Economic injury assistance is available regardless of whether the business suffered any property damage. Interest rates can be as low as 3.305% for businesses, 2.375% for private nonprofit organizations.
The deadline to apply for economic injury is Oct. 16, 2023. More information can be found in the Fact Sheets in English and Spanish.
